Happy Friday everyone!

I'm sitting here looking over my to do list for today. I'm hoping to get some crafting in... especially with Modern Basics! I just can't say it enough how much I love these two stamp sets :)

I found some teeny tiny buttons in my stash that I paired with the floral image, isn't it cute? I love this sentiment too because it's kind of like an "all occasion" celebration card... you could use it for birthdays, graduations, Mother's Day, ect. 

Have you heard the news??? Two Peas in a Bucket is expanding it's focus on stamping & cardmaking!! They are hosting a month long cardmaking series that begins today. It looks like the website hasn't been updated yet but I'm looking forward to it. TP's was one of the first online forums I joined way back in 2002 when I first began creating cards with my scrapbooking scraps.

A Big Thank You

Hi all!

I am seriously loving PTI's idea to "supersize" some of their popular sentiments. This month's Think Big Favorites #2  is definitely one of my favorites, and it's only $5.00!

I went digging through my patterned paper stash to find a sheet of paper that wasn't Basic Grey to use. Lately I've been reaching for my Basic Grey or Echo Park, so I wanted to use something else. I don't have a huge stash, but because I always reach for my favorites I often forget what else I have tucked away. I found a few sheets of double sided patterned paper from My Mind's Eye Rough & Tough paper collection... actually I found a lot of MME's patterned paper that I forgot that I purchased! PTI's Ripe Avocado ink works so well with it. 

This size sentiment makes it so easy to whip up a bunch of cards in one sitting...

I think my mojo is back, yay! Thanks for looking :)

Mother's Day weekend already???

I can't believe it's May already and that I totally forgot that Mother's Day is this weekend. I haven't made a single MD's card either! My Mommies will be getting their cards late this year. I'm sure they'll still love me :) I'm still trying to get back into my crafting, there's just not enough hours in the day! Anyway I do have a card to share with you today. 

Talk about quick & easy! I whipped up this card using cardstock, patterned paper, &  a tag! The patterned paper & tag are from Basic Grey's Kioshi collection. I added stickles & Ranger Glossy Accent to the flowers to make the card base pop a little more. 

 

This card only took a few minutes to assemble. I allowed the glossy accent to dry over night because I had to step away and do something else but I think it dries fairly quickly! This would make a great graduation or encouragement card :)

Are you tired of seeing this paper yet???  I love this scalloped paper. I need to get one of those cutters that can make scalloped cuts on 12x12 paper.

You Did it Good!

I picked up this $1 sentiment stamp from Michaels or Joanns...sorry I can't remember which now! LOL but I really love how well it works with the mega circle and giga scallop punches. I'm still using the contents from Jan's SOMO kit. You'll be seeing a lot of this! I'm trying to use more of the products that I have before buying more. I'm doing great so far! :)

My little sister is graduating from high school this month (so hard to believe!!) This is a card I made using the January SOMO kit, TAC stamps, and MM rub-on #'s. Thanks for looking :)
