If you've been following me on social media you probably know I'm a huge fan of Gelli Printing. I have a huge stash of gelli prints that I've been slowly working my way through creating mostly cards with. Gelli printing is so addicting! Since discovering this medium I have purchased very little patterned paper. If you have a stash of paper, paint or ink you never run out patterned papers!
One of the things I like about patterned papers, whether commercially produced, gelli printed, or hand painted, is that you can use them to quickly whip up easy projects without needing a hoard of embellishments. I created these two cards using a couple of prints & sentiment stamps.
The nice thing about Gelli prints or hand painted papers is that they can be a great "beginning or starting" point in the creative process. I should have taken a picture of this print before cutting it down, but after doing so I felt like it needed some extra texture. I used some white pigment ink & the solid polka dot stamp from Red Rubber Designs' Background Dots stamp set to give the print some more interest.
A partial supply list is listed below. Unfortunately when I'm Gelli printing I find it difficult to keep track of the specific paints, stencils, & masks that I use especially when I don't use the print right away.
Thanks for stopping by!
