January is usually my "birthday card" month so I'm surprised that this was the only one that I created. I got distracted by adorable snowmen & Valentine's Day makes. The flower on this card is actually a "flat" element, part of a digital scrapbooking kit. I cut two of them, reducing one of them so that I could pop it up using foam tape to layer it on top of the larger one. It's pretty, but I really want to recreate it using handmade flowers. The snowflake stamen is so pretty!
I added a red flatback pearl to tie in the red berries on the patterned paper and the red cardstock base. The sentiment is from a My Favorite Things stamp set called Sugar Coated Sentiments. The sentiments in this set are all perfect for this time of year! Thanks so much for stopping by!
