Have you seen the new frog images in the Pickled Potpourri store? They are just TOO CUTE!!! I'm sharing a card today featuring the frog from the new Toadally Awesome set.
This froggie's smile just cracks me up! I colored him using Copic & ProMarkers, and added little dots on his belly using a white gel pen. After the white dots dried, I colored over it using a ProMarker. I actually just pounced the broad tip of the marker over the dots. If you color over it, you'll smear the white ink... yep this was my second attempt at coloring him after figuring that out.
I used the grass image from the Mountain Scenery stamp set from Red Rubber Designs to give this froggie a place to sit. I also added a little distress ink around the grass. He'd be really cute sitting on a rock or a lilly pad too wouldn't he?
After coloring the image, I matted the panel using a sheet of patterned paper from the More Mimi paper collection. I stamped the sentiment using black ink, adhered it using foam tape & a button, and finally adhered the image panel to the card base using foam tape.
