It's a new month so it's time for a new kit!
This month Counterfeit Kit Club is counterfeiting Jenni Bowlin's October 2013 kits.
I decided to counterfeit the main kit...

This kit speaks Fall to me and I love the little owl diecut, so I built my kit around that. I chose patterned papers and alphabet stickers that have a lot of brown and orange colors, but also some navy, yellow, and red.
I didn't include a photo of my cardstock, but I'll be working with my go to colors, white, kraft, brown, and I'll add orange, red, and cream. I'll also be using a variety of stencils and dies, and a 4x4 canvas also not shown.
Then I chose some embellishments. I have a to-do list of fall & Thanksgiving projects that I am hoping to complete so that was in the back of my mind when I chose my embellishments.
I added some fabric, burlap, lace ribbon, brown ribbon, brown twine, cream scrappers floss, some white pearls, a leather frame, some chipboard banner flags, chalk ink, dye inks, distress inks, and alcohol inks. I added a circle and an owl stamp set. I may use some other sentiment stamps.
I like to keep my kit embellishments in this little container. This month I filled it with buttons in different shades of cream and brown, some gold brads in two sizes, gold eyelets, some rhinestones, paper clips, and a few mini clothes pins.
I also pulled out some fabric re-enforcers I've had in my stash forever, and Lawn Fawn's Stitched Leaves Dies. I will probably end up using some other dies and punches, and maybe some distress ink.
So that's my kit. Are you Counterfeiting this month?
