TGIF! It's a no school day here in my county so Tim and I are having a lazy morning. We love lazy mornings like these especially when the weather is cooler like it has been these last few days :)
Last Friday's theme for the DIO challenge was Paper Piecing. I had some extra leaves I cut out after creating this card so I decided to put them to use. I wanted to make a few more of this same card but I ran out of the light colored speckled cardstock. So I used the same leaf, patterned paper, and sentiment with a different layout using a brown card base with a green mat.
This time I didn't emboss the leaf, I just spritzed it with water and crinkled it a bit and then inked the edges. I like it! It's amazing how different but similar this card looks compared to the first one by simply changing the color scheme a bit!
Thanks for looking, have a great weekend!
