Butterfly Collage

I'm not losing my mind...LOL yesterday I totally thought it was Monday! The Memorial Day holiday has completely thrown my week off! So let's just pretend that I really did post on Monday ok? LOL

Today's card features an image from one of TAC's newest butterfly sets called True Beauty. I colored the image using Copic markers which is perfect for those intricate collage images requiring multiple colors. I pulled some embellies and pattered paper from my stash that I've had for awhile, unfortunately I can't give the manufacturer credit because I'm not sure who they are. Sorry!

Hope you had a great weekend! It was pretty quiet and relaxing here. :)

Lately I've been creating a lot of bright and colorful cards. I'm just drawn to those colors, they make me happy! But today I decided to try a different color scheme so I pulled out TAC's Hemingway patterned paper collection and drew inspiration from it.

The bird cage is from a set called "Bird Cage" from TAC LOL. I highlighted the cage using a blue green Copic marker to pull the blueish color from the patterned paper. I used a brown Copic marker to finish the cage and then inked the edges of the cardstock using brown ink. Thanks for looking!

Five creations in one week?!

I'm on a roll this week. I've been in a creativity rut for awhile and I think I may slowly be coming out of it. This card features one of the very first TAC sets I purchased way back in 2004! It also happens to TAC's Vintage set for the month of May.

A Color Challenge

It seems strange to not have a sentiment on the front of this card LOL I would say about 90% of all the cards I create have one on the front but I was short on time when I created this card. We had a color combo challenge over at PW's, this week's combo is pink, brown, & white. Thanks for looking!

Isn't this a fun image! You really can do so much with it.  If I were more patient I would color each of the feathers a different color... but since I'm not! LOL I just used black ink. Maybe next time! :)  Thanks for looking!

May Angel Art: Birthday Celebrations!

This month's theme is to create a birthday themed card, project, ect. I hadn't had a chance to use my new cupcake set yet so I created a card using it. The image is from a set called Sweet Thing which was apart of April's Spring into Rewards Promotion. I'm hoping it'll be in the new catty, the cupcakes are just too cute!!

Mother's Day Blog Hop

When TAC released this stamp set last month I knew that I just had to have it to create Mother's Day cards! I really, really, REALLY hope this set makes it into the new catty!!
