Here are the last few Christmas cards I created this year. More Basic Grey patterned paper & PaperTrey Ink stamps :)

I have to admit... when TAC first released Artsy Owls I wasn't sure about them. It took seeing a few projects using these images for it to grow on me. Now it's one of my fave TAC sets!I created this card a few months ago when I was in Christmas card mode and I hadn't used it yet so I thought I'd use it on a christmas card.

Everything used to create this card is from TAC. The Santa hat is from the Santa from the Everyday Events stamp set. I added some white fun flock to the trim & colored the rest of the hat & the owl using Copic markers. The patterned paper & tag is from the Reece patterned paper collection. The sentiment is from my "go-to" set, Trendy Greetings. I stamped the Script Background stamp onto tan cardstock using Versamark ink to pull everything together.

Last minute Cards & gift tags

Hello everyone! Only a few more days until Christmas!! I just wanted to share a card and some gift tags I whipped up for a few gifts.

For this card I used a $1 stamp I picked up from AC Moore last year, along with a sheet of Kraft cardstock for the card base stamped with PTI's polka dot basics stamp set, some Basic Grey patterned paper, a circle clip & some ribbon.

 

I colored in the text using some glitter glaze pens and sponged the oval using Versamagic ink. I also sponged the card base using Versamagic ink.

   

I ran out of gift tags so I decided to make the last few that I needed.

 

For these gift tags I used the gift from TAC's Celebrate the Seasons stamp set and the sentiment if from the Gift Tags stamp set. I colored the image using Copic markers and then added some foam tape to the back to pop it up a little on the gift.

December Angel Art Challenge: Winter Theme

Good morning! Hope you all had a nice weekend.

Today is such an exciting day for me. The month's Angel Art Challenge (AAC) is extra special because we have 15 participants including myself! I hope you'll be inspired by all of our creations and maybe even find an idea for a last minute gift or card for a loved one today!

I actually have two cards to share with you.

 

I'm always in need of thank you cards, I created a set of these to send out after the holidays. I used a snowman set from Hello Snow, the newest snowman set introduced in TAC's fall supplement, and the sentiment is from Ordinary Greetings. I also used patterned paper from TAC's Catelynne paper collection, which is also on sale buy one get one free! The image was colored using Copic markers.

 

This card features an image from three of my all time favorite TAC stamp sets Snowflakes, Script Background, and a retired set called Hello Winter, which happens to be this months Vintage stamp set, available with a $30 purchase for only $9.75.

I stamped the snowflakes using Versamark ink, the script background was stamped and sponged using Palette ink, and the snowman was colored using Copic markers.

Hello everyone! I've been neglecting my blog for awhile. I've been decluttering and fighting a cold this past week. So far I'm winning the battle against both. The decluttering is going to take awhile and I have a feeling this cough is going to linger for a long while but I'm feeling pretty good!

A couple of weeks ago my friend Barb had a blog candy giveaway... and I won! My first blog candy winning :) I created this using some ribbon and a circle coaster that was included in the giveaway. 

   

I added some patterned paper from TAC's Reece paper collection, some chipboard alphas, and a button & scrappers floss from my stash. It measures about 4inches so it's a little too big to be used as a tree ornament so I'm not sure how I'm going to use it just yet but I like it!
