November's Angel Art Challenge #2: Thanksgiving

Can you believe it's the end of November already?? This month went by sooo fast!! But that's ok because that just means it's time for another Angel Art Challenge. This months theme is Thanksgiving so we all created Thanksgiving or Thank you themed creations.

Here's mine... yes I used orange again! LOL I just can't keep my hands off of it. The ducky & pumpkin is from TAC's Pick of the Patch stamp set. I colored it using Copic markers. The sentiment comes from two of the GWP stamp sets. I normally stamp my sentiments using one color but I thought I'd do something different and I was really surprised by the difference it made. The patterned paper is from one of K&Co's halloween paper lines and the ribbon is by American Crafts.

Hang in There

Hi All! Hope you're weeks has been a good one so far!

Here's the card I created for the color challenge over at PaperWings...

Our colors for this week are Ivory, Rust #1 and Flora #1 from the DCWV Neutrals Mat Stack. All stamps used are from the current Angel Company catalog. I know I've been using a lot of retired stamps lately I thought it would be nice to actually use a stamp before it retired this time! LOL

I decided to use this little mouse & sentiment from the Pick of the Patch stamp set. For the background I used the leaf from the Family, Food, & Friends stamp set. I inked the edges of the card base using Palette Burnt Umber and a sponge. I then colored the image using a combination of Copic & BIC markers. I added two little ivory buttons I had in my stash along with some scrappers floss to finish the card.
