Have you ever had hives? OMG they are the worst thing ever! I LOVE Starbuck's Chai tea so I purchased some Chai tea bags from the grocery store a couple of weeks ago because they were on sale. The first few cups I drank, and I noticed my lips were a little dry the next day but didn't think anything of it. Then my lips turned a little black after another cup... I couldn't figure out why my lips were black and didn't think much of it and certainly didn't think it had to do with the tea. Well two days ago I drank another cup using tea bags from the same package and my lips just broke out into hives. I spent the last two days sleeping thanks to the benedryl and now it's 3am and I can't sleep! LOL I threw out the rest of the tea bags I wish I would have remembered who they were manufactured by, they were in a red & black package. I believe it said Indian Chai tea. So now I have black partially blistered, partially scabbed, slightly swollen lips. Uggg.. and NOOOoooo I will not be sharing a photo! LOL Although it would make a funny scrapbook page! So now I need a really good thick waxy chapstick, can you recommend one???

Anyway... I did get a chance to make this card using my new Papertrey stamps. I love how versatile this set is! Jun 15th can't come soon enough (a new set will be introduced then).  I got the patterned paper from Joann's.. I also used stickles on the flower centers but it's hard to tell in the photo. Do you feel older?

This is another card featuring SR patterned paper, TAC & Wordsworth stamps. Both "happy b-day" and the birthday cake are popped with foam tape.

I'm so excited! I just received my new stamp set from Papertrey Ink yesterday! I ordered Green Thumb, I really wanted Little Lady too but it's been backordered.  But I'm really impressed by this company :) Shipping was super speedy & everything was packaged so nicely! The stamp set also came with a CD case, label, and helpful tips on how to use & store the stamps. I only own a few sets of clear stamps and haven't been that impressed by them. I have to say that you can FEEL the quality of these stamps (same for the Wordsworth stamps used). The acrylic is very sturdy! Belated Birthday

I LOVE Scenic Route patterned paper. In general there are only a few companies or products that never disappoint me and SR is one of them! The paper used to create this card is from the Metropolis collection. The sentiment is from a set called Birthday Magic by Wordsworth.

One last Graduation card

Are you tired of seeing this paper yet???  I love this scalloped paper. I need to get one of those cutters that can make scalloped cuts on 12x12 paper.

You Did it Good!

I picked up this $1 sentiment stamp from Michaels or Joanns...sorry I can't remember which now! LOL but I really love how well it works with the mega circle and giga scallop punches. I'm still using the contents from Jan's SOMO kit. You'll be seeing a lot of this! I'm trying to use more of the products that I have before buying more. I'm doing great so far! :)

Just a little but I'll take what I can get! This came together so quickly! It did help that it is only an 8x8 layout. The patterned paper is by The Angel Company from a collection called "Just Like Dad." I also used Heidi Swapps' center of attention chipboard alphas and stamps from The Angel Company... T-2575 "Doodle-Bet" and Spring Fling set TAC-2720 "Punctuation." Sadly "Doodle-Bet" will be retired in June and "Punctuation" is only available until May 31st.

Finals week... that's all I can say!  Only three more weeks of school until summer break. I am SO looking forward to a few weeks of being able to go to bed a decent hour... and weaning myself off of the 6+ cups of coffee I've been drinking everyday. BTW have you tried McDonald's Vanilla Ice Coffee...YUMMY!! I absolutely hate their food but I love their coffee... hot or cold :)

This weekend many folks will be celebrating National Scrapbook Day. I unfortunately will be studying, but I am going to have a few give-a-ways to celebrate in spirit with you!so watch for details coming later today.
