Made in Minutes Monday: You warm my heart

 

I really love the warm colors of this paper collection. This card features patterned paper from the Penelope paper collection by The Angel Company.

I stamped the sentiment on a tag that is included with the paper collection and then inked the edges with black ink. I also inked the edges of the card base using black ink. Then I matted a piece of green patterned paper onto the striped patterned paper and distressed the edge of the striped paper.

I added some piercing to that pattered paper mat, added a flower and mini brad to the tag and adhered it to the pattered paper mat using foam tape to give the card a little depth. Then I adhered it to the card base.

Halloween Sculls

So I had this sheet of patterned paper left over from last year. The busyness of this design was kind of intimidating! For this card I decided to use the print as the main focus of the card. I think it works!!

It's a Popsicles, Ice Cream, and Cupcake Birthday

I just love Basic Grey... seriously there are two paper lines I'm most loyal to because they always have great designs and they always offer collections that are great for masculine & boy pages... Basic Grey & Scenic Route. This card features patterned paper from Basic Grey's new Cupcake collection. Love it, love it, love it! :)

I added glossy accents to the popsicles & ice cream cones and stickles to the cupcake cherries. The paper is great all on it's own but those two simple accents add so much to the card.

This is my Papertrey Ink version..

of the baby bunny card I shared the other day. I used PTI's Sweet Blush cardstock, ink & ribbon... this is such a pretty pink color perfect for baby or feminine cards.

I also used a Nestabilities rectangle to create the mat for the focal image. I used DCWV pink #3 textured cardstock. It's a shade or two darker than sweet blush... a perfect accent color :)

I thought I shared these before... two simple summery note cards. I've had this Scenic Route paper left over from another project and needed to do something with it. It's THE sin of all sins to throw out a single scrap of SR paper ya know! LOL

Hi Ya'll

Hope you had a great weekend! I have a couple of quick Valentine's Day tags and cards to share today.

These are 3 inch tags I created using Marvy's Giga scalloped punch, the stamps are by TAC. The heart is from a retired set called squiggle hearts and the sentiment is one of the NEW gift with purchase stamps. This particular stamp is one of 16 GWP stamps that is available with every 30 purchase :)

Kards for Kids

I've been a google eye kick lately :) I'll probably get over it after Halloween! LOL Anyway, these are two cards I added to my Etsy site the other day . I used TAC's "Creepy Crawlies" and SR patterned paper for these. Thanks for looking!

   

Pink & Chocolate

Love these two colors together. The pink is more like a deep coral, it's by DCWV. I also used more PP by Basic Grey, a bitty blossom, silver brad, Versamagic Ink, and a stamp from TAC's Sweet Sayings Set.
