Greatest Gift...

This is one of my favorite quotes. This particular sentiment is from Papertrey ink's Father Knows best stamp set. It truly is such a versatile sentiment!

For some reason my scanner & camera does not pick up the true color of the patterned paper. It's actually a little lighter IRL.

 

I discovered that I like the brown ink better than black with this patterned paper. I used Palette ink "Cognac" to stamp the sentiment. The image stamped behind the sentiment is from The Angel Company's Floral Dingbat set (item # T-2744) ... another versatile stamp set. I like versatile... could you tell?? LOL

I meant to scheduled this post for May 1st but I accidently selected June 1st! LOL It does make sense after all to post Mother's Day cards before Father's Day!

These are a few Mother's Day cards for my Moms and sisters.

 

These cards came together really quickly! This PaperTrey Ink patterned paper made it very easy!

I'm not sure I like the black ink, but at least they are finished!

I also used the Mother's Day sentiment from The Angel Company's "Trendy Greetings" stamp set, PTI's White cardstock, Aqua Mist cardstock, ink, & ribbon, along with Palette Noir.

Just wanted to share a layout with you all. This one measures 8x8...

The patterned paper is by The Angel Company from a collection called "Hip-Hop." It's a great collection for those boy and summer themed pages & cards. I also used circle stamps from TAC from a set called Circle Sampler.

Made in Minutes...

I actually scrapped a layout! It's been awhile since I really have created anything so I guess there's hope that my creative mojo is coming back LOL. This layout took about 15 minutes to put together after I figured out how to arrange the photos.

OMG...

Have you ever been sucked into buying "anti-aging" products? Well I'm always on the look out for great skin care products. Not anti-aging necessarily, but just products that help to balance the skin and improve it's overall appearance. I generally have oily dry skin if that makes any sense, and I get occasional breakouts but they always seem to scar and leave hyperpigmented spots on my face, I know TMI... LOL but seriously, GREAT products that actually work well are hard to come by so that's why I'm sharing.

I've been using both products for about a week and I could honestly see and feel a difference the very next day. But DH told me today that he could really see a difference. So I know it's not just me! These are two products that actually do what they claim! My foundation (BareMinerals) also sets better too.

Kards for Kids

Pink & Chocolate

Love these two colors together. The pink is more like a deep coral, it's by DCWV. I also used more PP by Basic Grey, a bitty blossom, silver brad, Versamagic Ink, and a stamp from TAC's Sweet Sayings Set.
