Summer Note Cards

Summer_note_card_1_of_2_2

Summer_note_card_2_of_2

I thought I shared these before... two simple summery note cards. I've had this Scenic Route paper left over from another project and needed to do something with it. It's THE sin of all sins to throw out a single scrap of SR paper ya know! LOL

A few cards...

Hi Ya'll plastic surgery texas

Hope you had a great weekend! I have a couple of quick Valentine's Day tags and cards to share today. plastic surgery texas

These are 3 inch tags I created using Marvy's Giga scalloped punch, the stamps are by TAC. The heart is from a retired set called squiggle hearts and the sentiment is one of the NEW gift with purchase stamps. This particular stamp is one of 16 GWP stamps that is available with every 30 purchase :)

You can view the other ones here --> GWP Stamps

*Before shipping and tax of course

I don't like having my picture taken

This really isn't a suprise to most people who know me. I'm usually the one behind the camera snapping away. But I've gotta be better about that. One day Timothy will ask why he doesn't have pictures of his mother... LOL. These were taken of us by my DH last fall one day after school. Normally his pictures turn out blurry but I think he did a great job!

Yay it's Friday!

Well technically it's Saturday here seeing as it is almost one O'clock in the AM. I've been up scrapping :) It feels good to actually slap some photos on a page. It's been awhile. Sometimes making cards is easier! LOL

I really wanted to use a color photo with this pp but didn't have any that coordinated well with it so I used this B&W photo of Timothy and I. He kinda looks like me in this photo, but trust me he is his father's "mini-me." You can click on the photo for a larger image.

Supplies Used:

TAC's Hemingway collection... patterned paper, cardstock, & Ribbon.

TAC alpha stamps Mini-Bet and Paint-Chipped Mini.

Bazzill bitty blossom, gold brad.

Stampin' Up slit punch to make the scallop

I'll be honest... I wasn't really a fan of the Mini-bet alpha bet because they are soooo tiny. I have fat fingers... LOL so they are challenging and require a little more work. But my other small alpha stamps would have been a little too big for this layout... 8x8 BTW. So I thought some Faux MM tiny alpha stickers as seen here would have been perfect but I didn't have any. So I pulled out the Mini-bet stamp each letter on scraps and then cut then into tiny squares using scissors. I inked the edges and then use my "X" Xyron adhesive to adhere them. I think I'll be using them more often!

Masculine Valentine #2

Img_3887_2

I have had this stamp set for awhile and really did not know how to use it. I remembered that it had a heart in it and thought it would be nice for a Valentine's Day card so this is what I came up with. TFL!

Earthy Masculine Valentine

This is a more masculine version of the card I created the other day. I'm still striving for a much more macho version though LOL.

Happy New Year!

I hope that you all had a very safe and happy New Years Eve. We didn't do too much. Timothy and I made a few cards while we listened to DH snoring on the couch LOL. He did wake up in time to watch the ball drop.

Have you made any resolutions for 2008? I'm still thinking about mine. My #1 resolution is to be more productive about the things that REALLY matter. It just seems like far too many days in 2007 just wittled away. I hate the feeling of losing & wasting time. So if you have any great tips on time management and simplifying I'm all ears :)

Anyway... hope your New year is off to a great start! This is one of the cards I made last night. I'm working on a few ideas for projects to add to my ETSY store.
